is it 12. since it is divisible by 88, it will also be divisible be 11. therefore A+3+B=8+7. THEREFORE A+B=12. RATE IF SATISFIED

This Post 5 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 1 votes )   [?]
let lenght of shadow be x when sun's alt = 60.

let height be h

tan 60 = h/x

h = (root) 3x (i)

tan 30 = h/40+x

h=(root)3x

1/(root)3=(root)3x/40+x

40+x = 3x

40=2x

x=20

h= (root)3x

h=1.732*20

solve to get the ans.

i think if it bisects the area. it will pass thru the midpoint of 2 opp sides of the quadilateral.
so mp of first side=(0+4/2,0+0/2)

it is eual to (2,0)

so slope=y2-y1/x2-x1

slope=2007-2/2006-0

slope = 2005/2006.

work = force*displacement.
1J=1N*1m;
1N=10^5dyne.
1m=100cm

1J=10^5*100

1J=10^7 dyne cm.
since 1dyne cm = 1erg

therefore 1J=10^7erg.

hence proved.

angle of refraction at first surface=angle of incidence at second surface. bcoz their normal is parallel to each other. and the refracted ray is the transversal.
and sorry.
we hav to assume angle of incidence at second surface as 45. bcoz after first TIR the angle of incidence at second surface may change as (180-(90+45))=45 only.
so it may be more convenient.

therefore angle of refraction=45

sini/sinr=n
sini/sin45=3/2
sin i = 3/2*sin45

sini=3/2*1/root2

therefor now calculate answer using trigo tables.
