1 molar solution is more conc. than 1 molal solution

i molar = i mole of solute in 1000cc of solution , i molal means 1 mole of solute in 1000g of water (1000cc) but the total vol. of 1 m > 1000 cc due to presence of an extra 1 mole of solute. no. of moles in 1 m sol. will be less than in 1M sol. hence 1m < 1M
