9.) loss of wt = wt of displaced water = 2
Let the amt of cu = x
So,
36 - x / 19.3 + x / 8.9 = 2
Solving this we get 10.4 x = 343.54 - 320.4
so x = 2.225 gms

Next one take volume as a variable and find out the answer its simple

Mass of man = 60 g
Mass of box = 30 g
Let R' be the app wt of man and T be the correct wt
R' + T = 60 g
T - R' = 30 g
R' = 15 g
So wt shown by machine = 15 g

Let the wt applied to get correct wt. be T and R be the normal reacn.
Considering Free body diagram of man,
T + R = 60(g +a) : a = accn of lift
Fbd of box,
T - R = 60(g - a)
So R = 60 g
T = 60 a
But T = 90 g + 30 a
90 g + 30 a = 60 a
a = 3g
So T = 1800 N

Hope the thing is clear
Pls do rate me

A non conducting ring of mass m and radius r is lying at rest in the vertcal XY plane on a smooth non conducting horizontal XZ plane. Charge +q & -q are distributed uniformly on the ring, on 2 sides of the vertical diameter of the ring.  A constant & uniform electric field E is set up along X direction.The ring is given a small rotation about the vertical diameter of the ring and released.Find the period of osscillation of the ring

The electric potential varies in space according to the relation V = 3x + 4y.A particle of mass 10 kg starts from rest from the point (2,3.2)under the influence of the field.Find the velocity of the particle when it crosses the X axis. The charge on the particle is + 1 C. Assume V and (x,y) are in SI Units.

Ans: 2 * 10 -3 m/s
