Anybody got IIT Kharagpur Industrial Engg.-either the B.tech or the dual degree course.

i read in one of the post something abt minor...like if u take (say) civil engg. in IIT Delhi...then u can do a minor in Comp. sc....so just wanted 2 know....what exactly is this minor...nd what r the requirements 4 that???

i wanted info abt the following banches...

1.Production and Industrial Engg. at IIT Delhi nd IIT Roorkee

2.Industrial Engg. at IIT Kharagpur

3. Engg. Physics at IIT D,IIT B and IIT M

wat are these branches all abt? it was given in the IIT Counselling brochure...but cudn't understand it...

wat are the job prospects in these branches...???

I got AIR 2492...according to last year cut offs i have a gud chance of gettin comp. sc. or electronics at IT BHU...just wanted to know...

1. whether I should go for it or not if given a chance

2.how's the infrastucture there???

3.  hows the placement (highest salary nd average salary)???

also wanted to know that...

4. is IT BHU better than NSIT...in terms of placemenmt and infrastructure???

5. which will be a better option...doing civil from IIT roorkee or electronics from IT BHU???

Apart from this wat else may be offered to me in other IITS...i don't want to go to IIT Guwhati...

well here i am sharing wid u abt the manipal enat which i gave today...well the reporting time was 11.30(for my slot)...i went inside...first they will give u some instructions...mayb till 12.00 nd they call ur name one by one for registration...during that they will click ur photo nd take ur finger prints...b sure 2 carry a photo ID card or u won't b permitted(it hpnd 2day)...also carry a photo copy of ur application form...the xam starts at 1.00 nd u may b seated 15 mins prior to the start of the test...they provide u wid 2 A4 size papers initially but u can ask them 4 more...now comes the xam part...well the paper is not as easy as everyone is claiming in this forum...mayb easier than AIEEE...but definitely harder than CBSE board xam level questions...also the time factor...its almost impossible to complete 240 questions in 150 mins...so that puts some xtra pressure on u...my advice...towards the end of the test do the english questions (u will have 2 search 4 them as they not in order)...but believe me eng. is very simple nd u must not lose marks on that...xam was over at 3.30 nd then u r given a scorecard which u have 2 sign...
