int 1/(1+sin x)

multiply and divide by (1 - sin x)

int (1 - sin x)/(1 - sin2 x)

int [(1 - sin x)/cos2 x]

int [sec2x - sec x tan x]

tan x -sec x +c

not necessarily, usually the torque is calculated about the COM  but it can also be calculated about any point that is not accelerating.for accelerating points you have to consider the torque of the pseudo forces.

this happens because the shadow is formed at some height above the surface of the earth.

if the plane flies very close to the surface, then its shadow can be seen.

the umbra(dark region of the shadow) does not reach the surface when the plane is at a great height above the ground.

the domain of sin -1 x is [-1,1]

sec x lies between [-infinity,-1] union [1,infinity]

sec x is equal to -1 at (2n+1)  ,so [sec x]=-1 at this value

[sec x] =1 means sec x lies between [1,2)

that happens  when x lies between [0, /3) ,general eq. is [2n ,2n +-  /3)

so the final answer is (2n+1)  union [2n ,2n +-  /3)
