Your approach is correct, but the ans should be 1/3 of the value obtained by you.

My question is :- Cube has a point charge placed at one of its edge. A face ABCD of the cube is such that its minimum distance from the charge is equal to the edge length of the cube. Find the electric flux through the face ABCD?

C & D are correct ans.
Enthalpy, H= PV, now as the vol has decreased the enthalpy " appears" to have decreased. But, since the scenario is diff., and we can say that the energy of the gas has to increase. this implies heating.

the given process is possible for ideal gas, but the nature of the gas has to be known to calculate the molar heat capacity.

assuming the gas to be monoatomic, the ans should be 2R. similar question was asked ( in fact the same) in IITJEE 2006, but here the nature of gas monoatomic was given.

OK, you may not get thru JEE, but let it be decided by the people who take your test. Success is not destination, but journey performed well.

I have been following one leading coaching institue for last two years. Believe me, they give you no tricks, but so much of material that you do not need tricks. Also, tricks are not to be relied upon, at least in JEE. (BOL).
