verticle component of velo vsin60

time taken to travel 15m=

15=vsin60t - .5gt^2

horizontal compnent of velo=vcos60

30=vcos60t

using these 2 equations find v

cheers!!!

ans is -30

taking (1-x) as one term of a binomial

expansion of the (1-x+x^2)^5

5C0(1-x)^5  +  5C1(1-x)^4 (x^2) rest of the terms of the expansion can be ignored as the coeficient of x becomes greater than 3 in them

now coeffient of x^3 in  5C0(1-x)^5

-(5C0)(5C3)

coeffient of x^3 in  5C1(1-x)^4 (x^2)...... FIND COEFFIENT OF X IN EXPANSION OF(1-x)^4

-(5C1)(4C1)

SO COEFFIENT OF X^3 IS -(5C1)(4C1) -(5C0)(5C3)

=-10-20=   -30

cheers!!!

plz rate

let initial Acceleration =a

Deacceleration=d

t1......time taken to travel alpha distance similarly t2 ......time taken to travel  beta distance.

t1+t2=t

=.5a(t1)^2

=Vmax(t2) -.5d(t2)^2

USING FORMULA v=u+at

Vmax=a(t1)

for second part

a(t1)=d(t2)

using these eq find max velo and initial accle

@sciencecrazzy to correct u there are 44 vacanciess this year of which 22 are for general .

scra get mechanical engeneering degree  from Indian Railways Institute Of Mechanical And Electrical Engineering  jamalpur and workshops are held in bit mesra ranchi.

@bladex if you getting in an iit  with a good branch than why to try for scra.

but i would like to say that being an scra is only second to getting a degree from iit in a good branch.

well talking about scope  of being an scra you become a first class officer which commands great respect .its only second to being an ias.

scra niether has to pay any fees for enginnering rather he gets stipends of about 8k pm during engineering.

but its not for those who are aiming of going abroad

ya ....when domain not defined in an interval  as in this questions ...infinite solns will be there

else if domain restricted in the interval [(2n)pie, (2n+1)pie] two solns will be there.

 Discussion Forums -> This Post 0 points    (0    in 0 votes )   [?]

@nogu just see the graph abov there are only 2 solns

 Discussion Forums -> This Post 15 points    (3    in 3 votes )   [?]

daw the graph of log(sinx) and cosx

the number of points at which both graph intersects is total no of solutions

the graph intersects at two points hence total no of solutions is 2

green is cosx

blue is logsinx              this is the case when domain is in the interval [(2n)pie, (2n+1)pie]
