Reservation on the basis of caste is unwarranted now..as we reach 60 years of independence , there should definitely be a new way to determine and help the underpriveliged then reservations on the basis of caste..
there are others who feel the same way , youth for equality has it's own website now..

thanks man..my parents are saying so too...cos in the site i checked that they are asking ranks 6000 to 8000 to waitlist cos they are expecting loss in seats..and if they are asking 6000 to 8000 to waitlist , then with rank 3610 i might get in..

but i really wish there were more reliable rankings - why doesn't india today and outlook do these type of surveys???
side note - engg colleges are good , but the best girls are in Bsc colleges....
