bits goa is not currently ranked becaz the first batch is placed only this year....still thr r more 300 students who will undergo their PS in various companies after tht only they will be placed....so it takes time for bits goa to come in the ranking list......

first question..........
we know p(x^2 +2)
put x^2+2 =y
so x=(y-2)^.5
now subtstitute for x in the given equation on both rhs and LHS.....
thus u have p(y) = so and so answer............
now replace y by x in the entire equation..
thus u get the answer for p(x)............
i think u can do the other question similarly......
p(x)=a0 +a1.x^2 +...........+an.x^2
so p(x^2)=a0 + a1.x^4 +....................+an.x^2n
since p(x^2)=(p(x) )^2
p(x) = (p(x^2) )^.5
thus expand it u will get the answer.............

if many students post their score ,then we can make a rough estimate of the cut-off...........
the score posted should be right ,thts all..........
and the person who got 304........ u can expect something in goa and hyderbad...........u may get non-enginearing courses in pilani......

i just got these ideas from some of the pre-councelling sections i atteneded before my exams............i thought it would be useful for the students.
if u felt tht its a type of advertisement,i realy excuse for the same.........

hahaha..................i too had a rank similar to wht u have .......if i remember correctly then it was nearly 239 or 249..........
dude i dont agree to wht u say.......i dunno how they got a gud rank in survey but i know tht faculty is not gud.it dont have a college atmosphere.thr r many bull-shit rules in tht college.....
some rules are
-girls and boys should not talk together.
-students can leave the campus only once in a month...leave the campus means ,they even cant go to the nearby town.
-thr is a dirty uniform pattern to be followed.
........
i dunno wether they r true.i just heard such rules when i asked abt tht college........................

the question before u is DO U WANT TO JOIN THT COLLEGe?
if yes u will get a .decent one in bangloore and the best in kollam campus........i am not sure wether u will get coimbatoore camopus
many who r in the top will go to iit,nit,state enginearing college etc........
and thus u will get to it..............but plz dont depend on tht college.try for ur bitsat.i think its the only exam remaining.............
think everything and take a decision......
