well i think so (i m also hoping for that) but i feel at the end(ci think from dec onwards) u need to devote more time for jee

i m going for the same thing and what i can infer from the first yr syllabus is that u may have to spend around an hour or so daily to keep remain in touch with the chapters............for that as pink ele rightly said.........sacrifice ur college life and better spend time on the topics not thr in ur engg syllabus

thats what i said...................if cbse does have impovement as knowmonger says and IIT do accept the marks then its better to drop (which u also said)

do confirm this from the JEE offices...they can only give u the actual thing

@akshay talwar try telling that dropping is not a risk to those ppl who have not been allowed to drop ...........( i m not demoralising anyone here)

use kirchoff's law
assuming the total current to be I drwan from positive end of 10 v cell.... it splits at the junction to i(towards 5 ohm and I - i towards 5 v )
now writing the Kirchoffs eqn for the voltage in loop having 10 v
we get
-5 i + 10 = so i = 2 amp

dropping as many say is a risk
only if u r confident then drop

i had said external electric field..............plz see that.............
in electrostatic cond it is 0 inside the conductor

wat do u mean by accelarating of electrons?

they will accelarate on surface only when an external electric field is present(in case of conductor)
