          HEAT  N' THERMODYNAMICS

KEEP IN MEMORY ........:

mercury thermometers wid cylindrical bulb r more sensitive than those wid spherical bulb.

alcohal thermometers r preffered over clinical thermometers due 2 larger value of d coefficient of cubical xpansion .

at d followin tempt. different temp scales hav d same reading:
@fahreinheit & reaumur
-25.6 F = -25.6 R

@reaumur & celcius
0 R =0C

@celcius & fahreinheit
-40 C = -40 F

@fahreinheit & kelvin
574.25F = 574.25 K

@celcius & kelvin cannot hav same readin at any temp

six temp measure minimum & maximum temp durin a day
it uses mercury as well as alcohol as thermometric substance

d rankine is d smallest temp range amomg all d scales of temp

water has negative coefficient of volume expansion for temp range (0 C - 4C)

d heat capacity or thermal capacity depend's on d nature of d substance ( specific heat capacity)
and d  mass of quantity of matter of d body

in d case of meltin and boilin poin temp do not change only internal potential energy of system changes

hydrometer is d branch of thermal physics that deals wid d  meaasurements of d amount of water vapour in atmosphere

hope u'll find it useful..............
i knw these points r a mixture
frm different topics
but i felt them 2 b jotted down 2gether

do rate if u like it ......
