vertices are:

diferentiate,find tha value of x at which dy/dx = 0

x = -3 / 4a

y  = -35 a / 16

eliminate a

xy = 105 / 64

hello dear..

to find the minimum distance between two curve..

let us assi=ume some value of (a),without some value of (a),v cant find the minimum distance netween the curves.........

if thw two curves intersect,it means the curve have real value of x and y......the minimum distance is zero.....

if the curve dont intersect than>>

find the point on the curve which are at minimum distance with each other......

plz,give me some question,so that i can clearly illustrate this concept

on homogenizing two equations:

y2  =  4a x (lx+my) / -n

n y2   + 4al x2    +  4am xy    =    0

two lines to be perpendicular:

n  +  4al = 0

iam writing the answer for this.plz confirm it:

=  1/ 21/2 [tan-1(t - 1/t) / 21/2        +  1/2 log ( t + 1  / t    -  21/2  ) / (  t + 1/ t + 21/2)  ]   + c

where t = (tan x)1/2

dude,

this non integrable function till the methods used which prescribed in IITJEE syalbus.....well,u read more methods of integration in engg.........

few non integrable functions in IITJEE course are:

sinx / x

cos x /  x

ex^2

e-x^2

cos x2

x tan x

root of(sin x)

many more........

this is one of the integral which cant be solved

few more integrals of this types are:

1. Sin x  / x

2. 1 / log x

3. cos x / x

4.etc.....

hello dear..

Conis method in complex number is also called a rotation method in it..

let the three point  be:

Z1  ,  Z2  ,   Z3

A , B ,C

angle between AB and AC is

arg [(Z2  -  Z1) / (Z3  - Z1)]

hell0o dear

A + B + C = 1800

A + B = 180 - C

TAKING TAN ANGLE ON BOTH THE SIDES

tan (A+B)  = -tan (C)

tan A + tan B / (1-tan A tan B)  = -tan C

tan A + tan B + tan C =  tan A tan B tan C

where A,B,C are the angles of  atriangle.........

hello dear..

The answer is (4)

the sweetest and the simplest approach of this is ,start puting the options.........start with 4th option bcz all the three x,y,z are given in this option

hello dear..

the equation can be written as :

(x+1)2 / 12           -         (y-2)2  / 16    = 1

x = -1  + 121/2 sec x

y = 2 + 4 tan x

This Post 10 points    (Olaaa!! Perrrfect answer.   in 2 votes )   [?]

hello dear..

quite simple appliucation of binomial; thoerem..

the gerenral coeficient is :  C (n,r)

here three consecutive coefficients are:

C (n,r)  = a                              (1)

C (n,r+1)  = b                          (2)

C (n,r+2)  = c                           (3)

(r+1) / (n-r) =  a/b

and

(r+2) /  (n-r-1)  = b/ c

solve for n =( 2ac+ba+bc ) / (b.b-ac)
