here comes the perfect soln...

in tria. ADB
AB = 1000 X rt.3/ 2  =  500 rt. 3

let Ef = x
in tri. AEC

AC = CE

ALSO, BC = DF(opp. side of rectangle)

500rt. 3 + BC = x + 500 -----------------------------------------------   1.

BC can be found out from tri. DEF
= X / RT. 3  putting in 1 we get

x = 500

so, total height becomes.

x + 500

= 866+500
= 1366 m

do rate me if u like this.

 acc. to newton's law of motion net force is 0 .

also, consider the case when u take a block & press it against the wall..u r applying force in hor. direction . so, acc. to utkarsh & sar..  wall will apply equal force on u cancelling the net effect so, why don't that block fall due to its own weight??
it is because u apply force on block not in hor. direction. u r apllying force on block in such a direction that it is cancelling the N by wall & weight of the block...

its too big explanation na.... :))

and yes joyfrancis is right...it is because the mass of wall is too big as compared to your force..

atmospheric pressure will not hv any effect on feathers as it will act in every dire. hence cancelling the effect

s = 0.5 at^2

as s is constant so if a is greater the t will be less

so, order will be

Mars  Venus and then  Earth
