1.nit allahabad-civil/prod engg

2.nit nagpur-chem/mining/metallurgy

3.nit bhopal-chem/civil/energy/electrical/mech

4.nit calicut-chem/civil

5.nit raurkela(my hometown)-mech/chem/civil/metallurgy/mining/ceramic/biotech/biomedical

6.nit trichy-civil/metallurgy/prod

7.nit warangal-civil engg

mera bhi wohi problem
i will get mech engg in nit's like raurkela,surat,bhopal and all that
and civil in trichy/warangal/surathkal

the state rank is the most important ...ur air is of no use if u want to get into nit's...and every nit has 50% seats reserved for its own state students and 50% is distributed to other states

i dont think this kind of state rank will fetch u a seat in any nit
in my state u have to be in <500 rank to get into a nit

What is the least marks in class 12 board exams required to enter into NIT
???(it is 60% in IIT)

BITS HYD is a new college and it will take time to carve a niche for itself..NIT Trichy is a brand as powerful as IIT's

i think ur best bet would be mech at NIT Trichy

first u shuld clear ur concepts frm Interactive Organic Chem(MTG) and then for practice u shud refer Arihant's
