The realtive velocity is v(A) - v(B)

Hence the angular speed of A wrt B = [v(A) - v(B)]/r

Sylvite is KCl.
Sylvinte is a mixture of sylvite (KCl) and halite (NaCl).

Please post your other query on a new page.

E1 Mechanism :

It is a two-step process of elimination .
1.Ionization, Carbon-halogen breaks to give a carbocation intermediate.
2.Deprotonation of the carbocation.

Typical of tertiary and some secondary substituted alkyl halides.
The reaction rate is influenced only by the alkyl halide.
Reaction mostly present in absence of base or weak ones.

E1 eliminations happen with highly substituted alkyl halides due to 2 main reasons.
1.Highly substituted alkyl halides are bulky, limiting the room for the E2 one-step mechanism; therefore, the two-step E1 mechanism is favored.
2.Highly substituted carbocations are more stable than methyl or primary substituted. Such stability gives time for the two-step E1 mechanism to occur.

E2 Mechanism :

It is a one-step process of elimination.
Typical of primary or secondary substituted alkyl halides.
The reaction rate is influenced by both the alkyl halide and the base.
Reaction often present with strong base.

The E2 mechanism is a dual process where carbon-hydrogen and carbon-halogen  bonds break in the same elementary step. In order for the pi bond to be created; the hybridization of carbons need to be lowered from sp3 to sp2.

The potential outside a solid sphere is just the same as if all the mass were concentrated at a point in the centre.

To find the potential at a point P inside a uniform sphere of radius a, mass M at a distance r from the centre (r < a).

First, there is the potential from that part of the sphere below P = -GMr2/a3.

Now consider a spherical shell of radii x, x + dx.

Its mass is dM = 4x2dx/[(4/3)a3] = 3Mx2dx/a3

The potential from this shell = - GdM/x = -3GMxdx/a3

This is to be integrated from x = 0 to a, and we must then add the contribution from the material below P.The final result is :

 V = (-GM/2a3)(3a2 - r2)

Accordingly you can draw graph.

Applying momentum conservation :
(M+m)v = mu
3v = 0.1x150
v = 5 m/s (velocity with combined mass starts circular motion)

1. When it makes an angle of 600 with vertical, height gained = L(1-cos600) = 0.25 m

Conserving energy after striking : (M+m)v2/2 = (M+m)v12/2 + (M+m)gh

v12 = v2 - 2gh = 25 - 2x10x0.25 = 20

Calculation of tension  :  T* = (M+m)gCos600 + (M+m)v12/L = 135 N

2.  At the top of the circular path height gained = 2L = 1m

Again conserving energy :
(M+m)v2/2 = (M+m)v*2/2 + (M+m)g(2L)

v*2 = v2 - 2g(2L) = 5     Hence  v* = 5 m/s

Similarly when 100 gm mass comes to rest after collision then momentum is transfered to 2.9 kg mass and its initial velocity = (0.1x150)/2.9 and proceed.

You will get  T > T*  and  Velocity in 2nd part > Velocity in 1st part

Potential energy + Kinetic Energy = constant (conservative system )

the dU = -dK

Force = -dU/dx = dK/dx = d(cx2)/dx = 2cx

2tan2x - 5secx -1 = 0

2(sec2x - 1) - 5secx - 1 = 0

2sec2x - 5secx - 3 = 0

secx = -1/2,3

Since secx<= -1  or  secx>= 1

Hence secx = 3  ( i.e in the 1st and 4th quadrant )

Hence it has 6 solutions in (0.6)
and one value in (6,6 + /2)  i.e  (6,13/2)

Hence it has 7 solutions in (0,13/2)

Hence n = 13

Yes still you can crack if you promise dedication and hard work. Stress on your strong topics. I would suggest you to cover following topics in order :

Physics : 1. Electricity and magnetism, 2.modern physics , 3.waves , 4.thermodynamics
Maths: 1.Calculus , 2.coordinate geometry, 3. complex + sequences, 4.vector + 3D
Chemistry : Go for your strong topics.

I have discussed it in the post :

Make notes and do practice a lot. Pay special attention to mechanisms and take it as an interesting topic.

See the basis of of admission to NITs are the state ranks and not the national ranks. There are some seats reserved for every state in each NIT. I dont know from which state you are so exactly i am unable to figure out the approximate rank which you need. Still go for top 500 and then you are through.

Dear you can still make it. Give some tests on your own and strengthen your concepts in portions in which you are weak. Actually You should have a good speed to crack AIEEE so my suggestion would be to practice a lot of problems as much possible and dedicate completely yourself towards studies.

Arvind is right due to inert pair effect ns2 electrons do not take part in bonding and hence Tl+ is more stable than Tl3+.

For physics H C Verma is the best, build your concepts and then go for Arihant.

For maths solve some elementary problems from R D Sharma and then go for arihant.

For chemistry go through NCERT books and then P Bahadur for numericals and J D Lee for inorganic.

You should dedicate yourself more towards JEE rather than boards. If you are sincere and hardworking then you can complete your boards preparations simultaneously with JEE preparation.You can gice approx. 1.5 to 2 hours daily for boards preparations.

It doesnot signifies anything in particular as complex numbers are involved.

As far as ii is concerned its a special case and not general.

If its given anything raised to the power i just take log on both sides and proceed.

Weaker the base the better would be the leaving group.
RCOCl is a weaker base then RCONH2 and hence is more reactive.
This property is known as fugisity.

Just refer some good book and practice all the reactions which are included in syllabus. Do practice mechanisms as it would give a better insight of reactions and build your concepts through mechanisms. The very next day you wake up just flick through your notes and have a quick revision. After practicing and revising hopefully you will find yourself in a much better position.

sin2x = sin(5x-3x) = sin5xcos3x - sin3xcos5x

sin2x/(sin3xsin5x) = (sin5xcos3x - sin3xcos5x)/(sin3xsin5x) = cot3x - cot5x

Integrating it with respect to x we get

ln(sec3x) - ln(sec5x) + c
