Can there be questions on column matching such that an option on the left side has no options on the right side ? For example a:p,q,r. b:s. c:. d:p.

Also please advise on how to tackle problems based on assertion and reason.

We know that a magnetic field of varying magnitude induces an electric field in any coil. This electric field is non conservative. So if a question comes in JEE asking if electric field is conservative or not, what will be the answer ?

I' ve completed the following parts of the IITJEE Syllabus:

1. Physics: Mechanics, Waves, Optics, Thermodynamics,Electricity upto current electricity.

2. Chemistry: Physical Chemistry, Alkanes, Alkenes, Alkynes, Alcohols, Alkyl halides.

3 Maths: Calculus, Coordinate Geometry(excluding 3D Geometry), Trignometry,Permutations and combinations.

Am I proceeding at the right pace, or should I speed up? Also please advise on what should be the correct date to complete the syllabus, so that I can revise.

As far as i remember, the answer of this question will depend on the basicity as well as the structure of the substrate.

A strong base will favour elimination.

A 1 degree substrate favours substitution.

I just can't open the FIITJEE OSI even though i enter the correct username and password. Did anyone else have/has a similar problem ?

Hey guzs, Hydrogen is a part of FIITJEE AITS part test 1, even though it is not in syllabus of IIT JEE. How come ?

How do we integrate indefinitely a non-continuous function. Say for example f(x)=[x].

Use this. You'll get the answer.
(sin x)^3= (3sinx-sin3x)/4. (cos x)^3=(cos 3x+ 3cos x)/4.

A source emmiting a sound of frequency f is placed at a large distance from an observer. The source starts moving towards the observer with an accelaration a. Find the frequency heard by the observer corresponding to the wave emmitted just after the souce starts. The speed of sound in the medium is v.

I just can't understand the question properly. Please help and if possible solve.
