ans is (a).----------- ( a^2)*(b^2)/(p^3)

PD acrross F and D ; E and C are equal as current flow is equal for both due to symetry. So no current flows thru EC and FD.

so now

R(AB) = r

R(AFEB) = 3r

R(ADCB) = 3r.

All 3 are in parallel.

so R(eq) = ( 1/r + 1/3r + 1/3r )^(-1) = 3r/5.

so eq res = 3*r/5.

for both tests, ETHANAL.
fehling's test is given +ve by both as both are CHO.
but iodoform is given +ve by (methyl ketone ) CH3CO- only. As ethanal has this func group too, its give +ve iodo test too.So ans = ethanal.

now. get off this.
another psudomaths.

this is DAMN wrong.

just look.
100(a-b) = 6 (a-b)
till this is all damn right.
but what is done next is 100 = 6 (a-b)/(a-b)
and i gotta tell u as a = b so a-b / a-b = 0/0 is NOT = 1.

so step happens to be wrong as 0 /0 is not defined.
( 1/0 = infinity , 2 / 0 = infinity , -1/0 = -infinity, but 0/0 is SIMPLY UNDEFINED )

so the whole thing is wrong.

just another approach.

just glance. blocks are identical do accl is constant.

so for 1st block,

a = v / 20t. ........... where t = time for 1 block.

so for n block,

a = v / t' ................ where t' = total time.

n = tot s / s = total dis / dis for 1 block

= ( vt' - 1/2 at'^2 ) / ( vt - 1/2 at^2 )

replacing val of t & t' ,

we get, n = v^2 / ( 39v^2 / 400 ) = 400 / 39 which represents no physical block.

so next least integer is answer.

so n = 11.

just another way.

4 as O2 has a double bond in between. so no of electrons = 6 - 2 = 4.

@spidey

even i thought that at first.

but if votes r 3 and 4.

the first and second runner get tied up.

A = 4 ( 40 % )

B = 3 ( 30% )

C= 3 ( 30% )

there exists a tie.

so i restorted to 50 ppl. bcoz
1. again diff of 1 vote is not possible with even nos. so 20 , 40 r out.
2.with 30, votes r 9 , 10 , 11. but %s are not integeral.
3. with 10, there is a tie..
so next no is 50.

ok. i get that. then, diffrence is 1 vote.

for miminum diff, no of ppl = 50 ( so that diff between A , B and C are least, kkeping in mind 3*(no of ppl)/10 is integer )
As loser gets 15 votes (30%), B gets 17 votes (34%), C gets 18 votes ( 36%).

[b]yup ! 2%.

just look. 70% votes are to be distributed among 2 people, both of which have got a different no of votes ( else diffrence is 0 ). so for minimal difference A gets 36% ( 70/2 + 1 ) B gets 34%.( 70/2 - 1 ), so difference is 2%.

Catalogs Discussion Forums -> Lounge -> can a believer of GOD be good at science? -> Go to message

i am agnostic. ( belive that existence of God can not be established nor disproved, as human consciousness is limited ).

it goes unsaid i m a firm beliver in science.

Just like we can not prove God exists, there exists no no proof he does NOT exist. So the thing remains we don NOT get to any conclusion. So let the things be as they are .

Compare it with this :
i say that x^2 - x + 17 is always a prime. u can NOT simply say its FaLse. u have to give a counter example or contradiction. Here x^2 - x + 17 is composite for x = 17.

Similarily, as a proof exists for neither absence nor existence, going by the principles of science, we can NOT say anything about it. So thats it.
