when the plate which is ejecting electrons is kept at a higher potential in this case electrons will face a opposing force ,so they must have atleast KE equal to "eV" where V is the pot. diff. between the plates.When the KE is exactly equal to eV then elec REACH THE OTHER PLATE WITH ZERO VELOCITY,if KE is greater than this they have some velocity at the other plate .If iats less than this they dont resch the other plate so there is no current.
please comment on the lettrs in bold
