A capacitor is formed by 2 square metal- plates of edge 'a' separated by a distance 'd'. Dielectrics of dielectric constant K1 and K2 are filled in the gap such that K1 occupies the upper part of the diagonal joining the opposite ends of the capacitor and K2 occupies the lower part of the diagonal joining the opposite ends. Find the capacitance?

1) If 'n' persons can sit in a row then there have to be (n-1)! circular permutations.
2) When the number of clockwise and anticlockwise arrangements are considered to be same then the number of circular permutation of 'n' things is (n-1)! / 2

According to me Solomons is far better in abiding by the stuff required for preparing for IIT-JEE. I'm having both the books but i'd prefer Solomons only. Although the book Morrison and Boyd is good but it is outdated now and contains even more of unwanted chapters and topics.

Can you look for Solutions to University Physics by Hugh D. Young and Roger A. Freedman.

Dear Panel Experts

I want to know if i hold a chance of being a contender in the race for clearing the JEE. Here's an insight of me.

I'm studying in 10+1 and i am taking coaching from reputed teachers of my zone for all the 3 subjects. My +1 is about to get over. I have not put in my 100% so far but i regret that. I have completed my syllabus as in accordance to the CBSE. I have finished H.C. Verma for Physics, R.D. Sharma (subjective only) for maths and Modern ABC alongwith P Bahadur for Chemistry and also all the corresponding NCERT's as well. I mean the books are on my tips. But looking at the Level of my counterparts at my coaching classes i feel timid in front of them coz of the amount of exhaustive knowledge they hold. So i'm here to ask the Jury that can i be a serious JEE or BITS aspirant if i promise to put my 100% in +2.

I'm also doing Solomons for Organic Chemistry, University Physics for Physics.

And also i would be very thankful if you could please take the trouble of prescribing sone good Obj. as well as Sub. or any change required in the above stated books for the coming year.

And also can you please let me know if there is any difference required for preparing for BITS.

Regards
