        for(int j=0;j<=i;j++)

when there r many cout statements at one go(lik in this one) with increment operators, the line is executed from right to left, but printed from left to right.so the right answer is 10,30,20,40

    int x[ ] = {10,20,30,40,50};
    int *p, **q, *t;
    p=x;
    t=x+1;
    q=&t;
    cout<<*p<<","<<**q<<","<<*t++<<","<<*(p+3);

i completely agree with Mansi. guess if u hav done all the books u've mentioned, u needn't worry. yet just dont be overconfident. revise and practice them again & again. that'll gain u confidence, which is quite necessary for good results.

@fwks_phoenix

As far as i know, there wasn't any extra marks in the previous yrs, when tnpcee existed. whatever the case may be, this yr im pretty sure that v r given those extra 5 marks (in avg). its only to compensate for the removal of TNPCEE.

imagine,
in state board, the first mark will be more than 1180 on 1200, mostly lik 99% (rounded-off). also, ull hav so many of em scoring 97-98%. even 95% is considered very low.

if they didnt allot seats by addin marks, there wud hav been only state board students studyin in CEG last yr, which was not the case. so i guess they r implementing the 3% also properly.

For Anna univ(AU), they see only ur board marks-no exams. For engineering, they add up ur maths, physics and chemistry marks and consider that total(on 300) for admission.

The TN state govt. syllabus is very easy compared to CBSE (imagine, there'll be 100 students who actually score centum in every student-that easy!) So to help the CBSE students, ppl incharge of the admissions add 5 marks to our avg. while  allotting colleges. i.e., if u get 95% in CBSE, it is considered equal to 100% at state board level. Plus, there is supposed to be a 3% quota for CBSE students. So, u hav a good chance of entering the College of Engineering, Guindy (CEG), if u score abt 95 in MPC in CBSE. Even otherwise, there r 100s of colleges affliated to AU & u can always get a seat in one of the best among them thru AU counselling like PSG, etc.
