let x=apparent position of the silvered face
By applying the property of mirror,
object distance=image distance
as image is formed due to reflection from the silvered surface,

8+x=12+6-x

2x=10

x=5 cm

we have,
R.I.=real depth / apparent depth
=6 / 5

for the goggles, radii of curvature of both the surfaces of the glass are the same in magnitude as well as in sign. i.e. R1=R2
using the lens maker's formula, we get,
1/f=( -1)(1/R1-1/R2)

1/f=0
but 1/f = power of the lens
hence power of the lens of the goggles is 0

rate if convinced.

Wavefront is the locus of all the points of the medium which receive the disturbance simultaneously and are in the same state of vibration is known as the wavefront. wavelet i'll let u know in some time.

I wanna let u know that whatever be the position of the object for a convex mirror, the image is formed between the pole and focus(behind mirror) and image is virtual, erect, diminished.

write k=tanA/cotB
use componendo-dividendo

1+k/1-k= tanA+cotB/cotB-tanA

= sinAsinB + cosAcosB/ cosAcosB-sinAsinB

=cos(A-B)/ cos(A+B)

Asmooth right circular cone of semi vertical angle =tan-15/12 is at rest on a horizontal plane. A rubber ring of mass 2.5 kg which requires force of 15N for an extension of 10cm is placed on cone. Find increase in the radius of ring in equilibrium.
