The resistivity will become half of that of the original .

Resistivity = Length / Area of cross section

Here

Length is doubled , Thickness is doubled

l = 2L . R=2r

So

Resistivity = 2L /  ( 2r)2

Resistivity = 1/2 * L /  r2

Hence resistivity = 5 * 10-8

Rate me for my efforts.

OOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You are too hot .

Listen

Rd sharma is a good book and not a crap

RD Sharma as u said gives 20/200 good questions and I think that

those 20 questions will make my entrance to IIT

I am A FIITJEE student

In a recent FIITJEE talent reward exam I got A rank of 433.

out of some 25000 students or may be more than that.

I have kept solving just two books for the past one year

R.D Sharma + M.L.Khanna + Other Qustions from our processors,

So if I am going the right way with RD Sharma then anyone can

So Cool Down !!!!!

as Everyone has his/her own views

Wow

You can use the other method of Graphs too here

Sin180

=Sin(90 + 90)

In the second quadrant Sin changes to Cos

=Cos(90)

=0

Rate if the method was useful

I do not agree with some of the above

See dude If some one tells u that don't even touch the book

R.D.Sharma then he is definitely Not helping you

See R.D.Sharma is crap for only those who find the questions in it

Hard and are unable to solve it , And if they don't get the solutions

of the problems given behind then it becomes even a bigger crap

for them than before as solutions are not systematic.

Try solving the questions they are really good.

If not the solved ones try out the Questions of the Practice
Exercise.

I really recommend u that book ,

But Before starting it make sure ur concepts are perfect or u may

get dwindled in some questions and might lose the love for the book

So,

For getting better practice I suggest u to go for M.L.Khanna

plZ Rate me if u find it useful

Max value of (Tan A - Tan B) has to be found out

But before that i must tell u that the answers that have been given

by other GoIIT ians are also correct if for Max. value =

But I can give u the solution for minimum value.

So first as we know that Tan(A-B) = TanA - TanB
                                                    1 +TanA . TanB

TanA- TanB = Tan (A -B) * 1 + TanA.TanB

Now dividing And multiplying by (A-B)

We will get

 Tan A - Tan B

=Tan(A-B) * (A-B) * (1 + TanA.TanB)
                  (A-B)

We know that Tan x = 1
                        x

So

Min value will be obtained if the function tends to A

As Tan curve is increasing and will get minimum value

When the desired condition can be taken as A almost equal to B but greater

This will give Tan A =Tan B

= (A-B) * (1 + TanA.TanB)

=(A-B) * (1 + Tan2A)

=(A-B) * (Sec2A)

= (A-B) /  Cos2A

This is IIT roorkhee Question

plZ rate me for my efforts

Cheers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

zero divided by zero

cannot be determined

zero into infinity

cannot be determined

infinty divided by infinty

cannot be determined

As for any person infinty can have a different value

Eg:

(infinity - 1) = is aloso infinity

(infinity + 100000000000) = is also infinity

So hence it cannot be determined.

I will try explaining you

See here the acceleration of the lift is in the downward direction

That is in the direction of the Gravity

Her the Acceleration of the elevator is greater than that of the "acc.

due to gravity so as the elevator starts descending the block undergoes free fall

I mean to say that the elevator goes down with a velocity > than that of the velocity of the block caused by gravity

so ,

We use

S = ut + 1/2gt^2 [ t^2 = t square]

here as the block starts from rest it's initial velocity = 0

So
S = 1/2 * 10 * (0.2)^2

S = 5 * 0.04

S = 0.2m

S = 20cm.

I hope u understood.

plZ rate me for my efforts
