i would suggest that you drop and not join a college
and concentrate only on your JEE studies
as far as your parents' concern regarding priority not being given to droppers is absolutely untrue..there is no such discrimination

yes ntu wud be a better option for 4000+ rank in iit
and abt the 6 yr bond..it is flexible...you can work for 3 yrs and then buy out the remaining 3 yrs

i would suggest you prepare only for JEE and not join any college..
Joining a college has its own pressures....
