i have heard tht the pattern of iitjee will undergo a change and it mainly will be based on objective type..so is it necessary to solve large harder problems? i will be grateful if u inform about the new pattern nd relevant gud books in all the three subjects..thank you..goiit is really helping me a lott

First of all thanx a ton for appreciating our effort. Well the pattern if iit keeps changing and it is not advisable to keep that in mind while preparing, what is important is that u should focus on the key concepts and try to understand them, this will help u a lot, believe it did me when i was preparing for JEE.

About the books .. well it all depends on how much time u have .. r u a school going student or a dropper ?? Do you go to coaching classes ? Well if u do and do not have much time then going through what is taught in class will be good enough in my view.

Dear Sonali,
In order to help students understand the new pattern and to make them understand what all they can expect, goIIT is conducting an all india pre-jee entrance (online) on 9th and 10th dec, in association with hindustan times. The registration for the same will be up on the site in a couple fo weeks. You should keep on a lookout for the same and should take the test for sure. It will really help you to understand the new pattern better. The test is being prepared by the best experts around the country, but its again just a guess around the actual paper. you never know what to expect from these IIT people

The test is tentatively to be held on 9th and 10th Dec.
You can take it on either of the days. registration is on first come first serve basis. The registration form etc will be up on the site by the end of next week. You can tell your friends who are preparing for JEE. post test, there wil be an analysis report which will point out your weak points etc.

iit jee new pattern requires through understanding of knowledge.grasp the theory and apply the concepts.read arihant publications books.they are good.
