I've got a very low score of 130/360 in AIEEE 2007. Career Point predicted my AIR 30000-35000 (as predicted by most in goiit). But they say my state rank (Tamil Nadu) must be 500-700. Is it right? I personally feel I must be getting a state rank of 1750-2250(or even worse!). Who is right? Career point or me? I've not appiled to BITSAT, DCE etc.

Your state rank could be as predicted as Tamil Nadu does not have much competition as compared to other states like AP, Himachal, Rajasthan, etc.

What school u are in? Is it CBSE or TN state board?

For ur info, CET is abolished in Tamilnadu and the admissions are based on +2 marks only and that too with 69% reservations for BC,OBC,SC,ST etc. If u are FC, then forget Anna University! I am sitting relaxed in my home waiting for results!

sorry bout that but i am from maharashtra and CET is on the 17th
but with 69% quota i really pity you guys
|

FC stands for Forward Caste (or more commonly OC-other caste) FC includes all castes other than BC,OBC,MBC,SC,ST etc. FC is equivalent to General category.

Nitesh Shenoy! I am of your view regarding reservations. What can the politicians mentioned by u say about the very poor FC and very rich OBCs etc. RESERVATIONS MUST BE ON THE BASIS OF ECONOMY AND NOT ON CASTE! JAI HIND!
