If frequency of oscillation of a body undergoing SHM is f,with what frequency does the K.E oscillates???

Let the equation of the position a particle undergoing SHMbe
x = A sin(2 ft)
Velocity of the particle
v =2 fA cos(2ft)
KE of the particle
K = (1/2)m[2fA cos(2ft)]2
K = (2f2A2/m)[1- cos(4ft)]
Frequency of K = 2f

her is another solution,
see for time period T the frequency is f...
now from -A to 0 the K.E. becomes min. to max. in time period T/4....
and 0 to +A again T/4
hence time period is T/2....
for 1/T=f
therefore,
2/T=2f which is the ans....................
