Okay, I am real pissed... I have created this topic to vent out my feelings. According to FIITJEE solutions, I was expecting atleast 180+ in aieee( That too, in the worst situation) . But I got a measly 140!! State rank of 800.
Now to those dumb predictions. I was predicted a state rank of 100-150. And look at what I got!
Well, NIT trichy might be possibnle according to many ppl, (with some crappy course), But I am really pissed off with the predictions and the solutions.

hi me too xpectd at least 160 and i got 135.........l wat say 160 was the least i xpctd............. nw evrthng is ruined i gt a state rank of 811 and all india of 42010 iam eligible 4 councilng bt know nt wich coll>>>>>>>>>

while deciding the availability of a college
which rank do they see all india or state rank ?
i guess for a state college the state rank is held into account
and for all colleges excluding the state ones the all india rank might be considered

yeah, state rank is for the NIT in ur state (bad luck if ur state doesnt have any) and AIR is for all india counselling.... NITs all thruout the country

Well, what I am getting is that everyone is getting 3 less than the worse case of marks they could make up I predicted 215, got 212 A friend 303, got 300 160, 157 147, 144 4 others!!!! I don't know man By the way got 9709 air but no state rank????? Can anyone help what colleges I can get, from uttaranchal??

hi plzzz help me out.....i am totally screwed up with an all india rank 44172 and a state rank 1669(west bengal)........i was expecting marks around 150 according to FIITJEE solutions but i got just 132....do i have a chance to get into any of the nits?....nit allahabad or durgapur any stream????........ plzzzzz help meeeeeeeeeee:((  |
