f(x)=log10x can be rewritten as 10f(x)=x, i.e, if y=log10x, then 10y=x, so, f -1(x)=10x
to find the inverse of a function in x, such that y=f(x), just get x in terms of y...that is the inverse,...inverse exicts only if the function is a bijection
