DAIICT was good , but have heard rumors on their orkut community that many faculty are leaving , now when something like this happens it does say about environment there. Infra is good and faculty too , but how long does it last is a doubt. Also there has been certain fears of it coming under GUJCET and becoming gujju college , so there is a risk of joining daiict this year atleast.

Do carefuly consider your options before joining daiict.

the faculty at daiict is very good... all professors r required to have phd... almost all the professors r from iits or well recognised foreign universities... the avg. on campus placement is less around 2.7 as the college is quite new.... it will improve with time...if u have talent then u can get really good packages off campus...as for reputation many people prefer it over nits (cutoff under 9K) ; but being private colg. some people prefer nits.... faculty n infrastructure wise it is better than nits...
