my rank in iit is 3007.i may get civil dual in iitm with a chance as seats have increased.i surely will get naval architecture dual in iitm.i don't know anything about this branch .is it good?should i prefer biotechnology in guwahati than naval.my bitsat score is 333.i'll get mech in pilani.what should i do?

Give all other options you have.
And yeah you should prefer Biotech in IIT G than Naval.

as i hav heard, civil is not a very good option with mtech.
u may take biotech if u get, but ur best choice would be mech at BITS pilani
dont opt for naval architecture, instead try some msc course
|

Can you tell me where exactly
the no. of seats have been increased?
What is the total incr.?
Is there an incr. in cs,elec seats

to know where they have increased find last year's brochure.from what i know the increase is highest in kharagpur.

last year no of seats were 5444
and this year it is 5537
as fas as i know i dont think there has been an increase in seats in cs and elec
the increase in seats is due to 7 new courses in roorkee
and 3 new courses at madras

The figures in bracket indicate strength for 2006.
This yr, the increment is only 93.......thanks to IIT-R.
Last yr, there was a quantum increase from 4900 odd to 5444 ( about 500 as against only 93 this time). .
