i'm fully not agreed wid ur thinkin about REC

i mean u r not expert to tell wich institute will provide good r atleast satisfactory

infra i hav went to REC n i think it's a good campus

so chil out n don't give ne suggestions abt i mean ne institute

I don't agree with Ramya. IIT is a brand, that nobody disputes. What after that ? Certainly, BITS, IIIT are next. What after that ? Surely NITs. They are better than most of the other institutes which take admission on the basis of State Engg. Entrance or XII marks.

 

I also don't agree when you say that NIT, Nagpur, Jaipur and Surat are not good. You can't straightway say that institute is more important than the branch. It all depends on how you perform after you get into the college. If anybranch in Trichy is better than the best preferred branch (Comp. Electronics) in NIT, Nagpur or Surat, then even the lowest packages of Trichy passouts should be better than the best package of other NITs. The fact is that this is not the case. Trichy packages starts from 3 something and goes very high. Nagpur also reaches about 10 this year. How do you explain this ?

 

 

To start with you have no idea what you are talking about.You cant rate nitt after evaluating nit srinagar.nit is a vast community and there is a lot of aberration.

To tell you about nit's nitt had a highest salary of 43lacs and the average salry in the computer science department was close to 5(more than majority of the departmrnts in iit's). 

I am in nitc and for the records we get 24 hrs access to net from our rooms(how many iit's can beat that) and the highest salary was 11lacs(similar to iit's if you take out the few international placements which even nit's have started pulling back)

As for the brand u need to be an nitian to have an opinion.I guess there is a reason why companies like-yahoo,microsoft,ge,ti,goldmansachs,sclumberger,morgonstanley are making a beeline to the college other than mere talent.

And yeah evevry time u r speaking about nit's dont forget you are also speaking about institutes of national importance.It seems like you are advicing people to do what they ought not do

 

Branch is ne day more important than the coll.You may study civil in an iit and end up with a salary of 5Lacs(max) or study cs in an nit(top 5 perhaps) and end with a salary between 6 and 10.Placement are not the end but even if they were we've stirred clear

And the kind of students who are entering nit's are n e day good enough to work in the best of companies.
