THEN WE HAVE TO TREAT WITH DILUTE NITROUS ACID WHICH CONVERT NH2 GROUP TO DIAZONIUM SALT WHICH WHEN TREATED WITH WATER WILL FORM OH GROUP. THEN WE PERFORM VICTOR MEYER'S TEST TO DIFFERENTIATE 1 DEGREE AND 2 DEGREE ALCOHOL

Well Shweta, you may also do it by Hinsberg test { it is well explained in almost every book }
