Bits offer dual degree for MSC (Hons) courses. for ex: MSC maths and then after 1 year, candidate gets BE . stream in BE depends on his 1 year performance.
this is 5 year course. so candidate will be MSC and BE after 5 year.

i need suggestions. main doubt is 5 year course vs 4 year course.
is it worth to leave BITS brand for saving one year?

I will advice you for Mechanical in NIT Nagpur, for it is a core branch and offers much more flexibility in terms of future prospects. For example if you want to shift to software, you can from a mechanical background much more easily than you can from MSc. However if you are dedicated to a particular subject and pursue it as your life's vocation, an MSc course would be ideal. You will have to study less number of subjects which will have no relevance to you. So set your priorities straight and choose well. Best of Luck
