I am studying in class XII, and i had to spend almost 8 hrs. for school and preparing for iit & aieee by myself.since except 1 period other are totally & ican't utilise school hours by myself bcoz of the terrible noise of my fool class mates.i know its too late to decide now but as it is told its never too late so can u help me by telling me the name of some good school along with a coaching institute with good faculty for iit coaching which will give me addmission .since i devoted my time in iit preparations my result is not good in class XI ,and once fail in chemistry.here quality of education is very very poor. no one much knowledge .in summer vacation i worked hard for two months.i thought iit or aieee was possible. but the school is again washing my hopes .now i am getting only 3-4 hrs. sleep and tremendous head ache and in very much fear that my hard work and sacrifice would go waste.i know any good school will not admit me as its too late & due to my poor result though i did well in 10 board some hopes are alive & tell the places which are popular 4 coaching so that my parents can rely. if u cant tell me also thank u for reading this poor boy's sad story.so far i had studied in CBSE & want to continue furthur with this board.

Hello there!
First of all, tell me which city you are from. Are you just entering class XII? See, first of all, if you want to clear IIT, you must be determined and focussed on that. And secondly, if your basics are strong, you must be able to score 85% easily in your school/board exams. A person who can't score 80% in school exams (only pcm) will not be able to do well in competitive exams as well. Do not neglect your school portions, as they provide you the subject basics. I think by now you must have realized if you are capable enough for iit or not. In case you are still not confident, I suggest you take one year drop and appear for iit the following year, with 2 year coaching, and believe me, taking coaching classes for only 1 year will tax you heavily. You will lose both in school as well in coaching classes. You can try writing aieee and iit this year to see how you fare. If you don't get through, then take a year's drop.
What I suggest is, if your city is not very good for studies, then after your boards, go to some place like Kota or Hyderabad, as coaching there is excellent. Of course, do this only if you are serious about IIT.

Will nip in at times to solve problems :)
