Respected Sir/Madam,

I had got a rank in AIEEE which according 2 last year was enough for getting into IIITs but couldnt book the seat as banks from which we were expecting the loans didnt sanction us the required loan. And hence had 2 forgo my admission into any IIIT or NIT. Because I m an OC n from Hindu I couldnt get any help from various organisation which work for SC, ST n for other religions.

I didnt even think of Bits as the fees over there is very high.

Also I had lost out in IIT this year n wanted 2 write it again the next year but there is no use because even if I get into it next year I wouldnt be able to meet the financial requirements.

Now I will get the seat in top engineering college of Hyderabad as the expenses r less over here n hence could afford it. But I m not at all happy with the way the things are going in my life. Please motivate me. Also tell me how can I be happy in my life. Also are the placements n packages over here good? Because that is the thing I m working for.

i can understand ur feelings.but dont worry.ur in d top10 institute of india acc.to dataquest survey.and placements r d best = to iit.c life has lot 2 teach and u have to learn.this a jst smaal bend in the lifes road not d end.And its not d thing dat u didnt made into iit.but ven financial circumstances does not permit so its not ur fault.infra is gud in iIIT though not in IIIT i know its a gud as my frnd was dere.
Motivate urself by reading inspirable quotes of grea men but i would like to give u dis quote vich m always remember ven i got fail in 12th dis year

never get too much depressed.take admission in some good engg. coll.u r a bright student n deserve to be in iit.so take the exam next time.regarding financial support i assure u that u will get it if u make to the iits.even professor there would be ready to help u financially.

I am really sorry to hear that.
Also more pained to hear that you didn't think about BITS.On the whole , BITS is just 15-20% costlier than the IITs and almost as costly as the IIITs.
Also if ur cumulative income is less than 3lakh/pa , u can get 50% to 25% off per sem, at slightly abv avg CGPA.+ if u give ur case in writing , BITS will specially do their best to accom u.
Even poor Sarath Babu , who used to live in Chennai slums , studied in BITS.
But already u have done so well , I am sure that u'll continue doing well always.

Well, firstly, take it as a man, ie, accept it, understand it, and move on. What is in the past can't be helped now. So no use brooding over it. Just make sure that you study well in your college. Try to be the topper there and you are bound to get a good package.

Also, if you clear the JEE next year, don't worry about finances. Banks sponsor IITians very easily. Your dad won't have to cough up anything per month. Just work hard and get into IITs if you can

It's sad to hear but don't worry coz every obstacle is nothing but a new lesson to learn.Have faith in urself n this time work really hard to get throgh iit which will definitely fix ur life.
