Explain why pure liquids and solids can be ignored while writing the equlibrium constant expression ?

as far as i know, the concentration of only pure solids can be ignored coz' in equlibrium, the concentration of solid substances is taken to be 1 .
|

the molar concentration of a pure solid or liqiud is constant(independent of the amount present).for more info refer 11th std ncert chemistry part 1
