ur not boinkin, but can surely rate, isnt it?
if u observe closely, the area in sq units of thefigure has remained unchanged. so, the "hole" is just an optical illusion caused due to the changing positions of the pieces

its reaaly nice!!! it should be because when we find the area of triangle using the formula, it is not the axact value but close to it...( as integration method has derived that formula..). jus luk at the above big triangle.. find out the area using the formula of tringle.. and then find the area by adding the different blocks contained in it... u will notice a difference in the values.. it is only due to the error..

@ameya I m not boinking does not mean, ne nonsense answer wud do. It is an optical illusion, but where do we go wrong in analyzing it... @ rini Hey gal, it is the error that u have to identify... We all know there is an error...... I'll post the answer in two days, till then keep trying.....

Well, 'coz no one was able to get the answer, I am forced to reveal it... The optical illusion here is, the hypotenuse is not a straight line after all. The slope of the red incline is 3/8 and that of green is 2/5... Now that it is not a line itself, I think u can guess the rest...
