1. at what temperature will the DeBroglie wavelength of helium atom be 0.62angstrom units?? 2. what is the number of waves made by an electron moving in nth orbit of bohr atom?? 3. angular frequency of electron occupying 2nd bohr's orbit of he ion is? 4.how much will kinetic energy and total energy of electron in H atoms change if the atom emits a photon of wavelength 4860 Angstrom units. 5. Assertion: spectrum of He+ is expected to be simlar to line spectrum of H-atom........Reasoning: He+ is one electron system. what would be correct ans.?

Answer to first question. At any temp T the KE of He = 1.5kT So its momentum p=sqrt(2*m*1.5kT)=sqrt(3kTm) So lamda = h/sqrt(3kTm) T=h^2/(lamda^2*3*k*m) where h is plank's constant lamda is given wavelength k is Boltzman constant m is mass of He atom

V = d/t
Radius = 0.529 * 4 / 2 = r
Dist = 2 Pi r
Velocity = 2 * 10^8 * 1 / 2 = v
v = d/t
t = d/v
f = v/t
Angular freq = r/t
Correct????
