Please help me with this question

A closed cylindrical tube containing some water (not filling the entire tube) lies on a horizontal plane. If the tube is rotated about a perpendicular bisector, the moment of inertia  of water about axis
(a) increases (b) decreases (c) remains constant (d) increases if rotation is clockwise and decreases if it is anti-clockwise

Thanks,
Lois

Moment of inertia increases because water moves to the ends of the tube when it is rotated.Hence distance from the axis increases. So MI should increase.
