it has two answers i.e.
1) friction
2) fear of being bitten by it.

as we see the snake the adrelin level in our body increases. this is due to a common fear developed in your brain.you automatically stops running and apply self friction!!!!!

In that event people keep thier leg extended forward pressing the earth and body(torso) behind, so leg makes certain angle with horizontal plane. Now the earth exert with same force( reaction) in opposit direction. Hence frictional force come in to action in a direction opposit to motion, hence breaking action.

**post edited for profane content.** Dear jewelexintl1, This account is under scrutiny and i've been fighting a battle with the moderation team to avoid it from being locked. Please do use the forum to get your concepts clear and make something out of this opportunity. we have a thousand places in life where we can throw profanity at friends/foes and have fun....but give yourself an option to do this once you have made something out of your life.... just a friendly suggestion. ur call. ~admin
