i am currently studying in class 10th.....i will give my boards in March 08.(ICSE)

I have one big confusion....after 10th i want to join a cbse school. my confusion uis...weather i should choose delhi or kota...which would be better in light of IIT preperation.....i want you to consider the coaching classes.(FIITJEE or BANSALS)
where should i go after class 10th???

Another question of mine is that whether i should start preparing for IIT from now?? If i dont study from now will it lower my chances of getting through?? If not then hould i start preparing right after my boards get over?? As in April or May...or can i relax for a while and then go on to prepare for IIT??

Dont get into preparing right now... relax... there is a lot of time left. Don't pressurize yourself too much. Now the place that you choose depends. Going to kota might not guarantee a 90% in 12th, but it will boost your chances of clicking in aieee or iit, provided you put in effort. On the other hand, I know people who have cracked jee without going to kota or any coaching classes, with just self study. So it depends on you.

k......so that cools me down.....i can wait a while before worrying!!!!

But my other doubt is still hazy......delhi or kota(fiitjee or bansal classes) is my ques.......

Going to Bansal will surely affect your 12th board results & if then you did not get selected in IIT,you will suffer.then you have only one alternate to take a drop & study.12th class results matters in gettng jobs too.you are in class 10th so you need not to worry about the IIT as IIT does not have much relation with class 10th.So in my opinion you should go to delhi & join some nice classes so that you get well in your 12th exams & in competitive exams too.
