I am really stuck with some of the equations and even if i know them i am not able to get the answer at all.can someone give me the stoichiometric equations of the following 1.iron+oxygen 2.silver carbonate on reduction 3aluminium on oxidation

Could you be a little more specific??
Like perhaps the medium specified or the questions that
you are stuck at....its actually not possible to say like that.

ok...i'll give you the question directly.. Q.2.76g of silver carbonate on strong ignition gives a residue weighing?

2 Ag2 ( CO3) = 4 Ag + 2 CO2 + O2
Atomic Wt of Ag = 108 So wt of residue = (4 * 108 / 2 * 276 )* 2.76 = 2.16 gms (Mol wt of silver carbonate is 276 gms)
