b and d are the correct options. my next question:
Q: Which of the following statements is/are true for INVERSION TEMPERATURE {Ti} :

a. Ti1b1a-1 = constant

b. Ti is applicable in the case of real gases as well as ideal gases.

c.  Ti is minimum for a gas for which liquefication is easy.

d. Ti is maximum for ideal gases and minimum for permanent gases.

option A is wrong...bcoz Ti = 2a/Rb

option B is wrong bcoz the inversion temperature is not applicable for ideal gas

option C is the only correct option

option D is wrong bcoz inversion temperature isn't maximum for ideal gases...

so C) is correct...

Ti=2a/Rb therefore a is wrong
Ti is not applicable for ideal gases as they do not exist as liquids because they have no intermolecular forces of attraction hence there is not temperature at which they can be liquified. thus the concept of Ti is useless.
thus b,d are incorrect
c comes closest to being the correct option but it should also be modified as
Ti is minimum for a real gas for which liquefication is easiest
