a dog is floating in a room (vacuumed-no gravity) [stationary] all the walls and floor of the room is made up of mirror. how many images will he see?
if
the same dog is standing on the floor of the same room how many images will he see?

see man, i feel, bhartibhushan is right........
there will be infinite images........
for instance, at t = 0, suppose i image is formed..... now that image will surve as an object 4 another opposite side mirror............
and the series would go on and on........... infinitely...................

yes infinite.........its simple........ bcos reflection frm one mirror( that is image formed by it) wud serve as a successive virtual object for other mirrors and they will inturn again form images... and this is da reason why it gets smaller n smaller (as the dist. between the virtual obj. and mirror keeps on doubling after each reflection.) and yes there is a formula to calc. no. of images i just dun quite remember it... but when i find i will tell ya..... NOTE: even if there ud have been 2 pararllel mirrors only thn also infinite images ud hve been formed Cheers!!!!!!!!!!!!!
