Ya i agree with astrojith sure one may be having the book n printer - but i would consider you extraordinarily lucky if you got the book - its too much to scan the whole book AND upload it. No jokes there. If you have got just one or two chapters you wanna refer, i suggest you ask for that that might work i too searched for the book - but as expected - not many indian authors books r available anyway, theres someone in this string who posted the site www.learnerstv.com its a gr8 site if you hav got enough bandwidth, try the videos as well - awesome (particularly those of phy by walter lewin - mit professor) they have also got some ebooks there.
for the mcgrawhill book, it might be available at quite cheap rates (2nd hand though) at www.buyselloldbooks.com - check if this helps

Morning Dew, actually there's a place in my town where they convert books into PDF. No kidding. Its not that expensive too. I'm planning to scan some of mine for the good of all but I'm low in pocket money right now.
And about Walter Lewin, I learned everything from him. I've been attending his classes for a long time now. Search "OCW" and get more free courses from MIT.
If you want to download Mechanics, search "OCW 8.01" and there's download link there. There's no download option for electricity and magnetism. Its just streaming content.
I've an unlimited connection. So, I don't have to worry about bandwidth. Thats why I downloaded the whole mechanics collection and copied it into my mobile phone. So, when I'm free or feeling bored or somewhere in a queue, I turn it on and put a headphone.
He makes the subject so beautiful. And, I suggest you to try "Feymann Lectures" too. There's historically super.
But again, back to the topic. Can anyone please scan TMH Maths for us ? I'm ready to give you money if you have Paypal account. But please don't overcharge ;)

Thanks! And where may i find the feynman lectures from? also would they help for the prep? this is because for heavy downloads, i ask my brother to dwnld(he has unlimited bandwidth) and send me a dvd or sumthing so though i can get gud stuff, i hav to keep the number down or he'd b irritated :-P
anyway, the mit lectures, from the topics, its clear that many topics are common with the JEE syllabus, but since you have seen all those, you can tell me better - is the course indeed quite similar (here i mean by level as well)?

About Walter Lewin's lectures. I've attended 8.01 and 8.02 three times. It gets clearer each time to see it. Walter Lewin is GOD !! I think a lot of the topics are covered in our syllabus except some variations in optics I guess. But the good thing is, he teaches so wonderfully and humorously that anyone would start to love Physics.
If you want to know what his classes are like, in 1.37 min, check this out : > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Zc9Nuoe2Ow The classes are filled with activity which demonstrate really amazing results. You can check this small clipping of a great session regarding "Non-conservative fields" where he totally breaks intuition : > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eqjl-qRy71w > http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bUWcy8HwpM His classes are oriented towards learning concepts and he almost never takes up numericals in the class which is good since, we can do that by ourselves. But, the concepts will be crystal clear. About Feynmann, I got the lectures through torrent. I get everything from torrent. I download almost every new movie, game, lectures, books, music etc. Anything you can think of, from torrents. Its amazing I tell ya.
Anyway, here's a good torrent for Feynmann lectures (its 3 PDF) : http://www.fulldls.com/torrent-ebooks-862976.html
Download utorrent or Bitcomet. They're the best torrent clients around.
And hey, what about TMH man ? Is there anyway to get it scanned ?
