IIT JEE , AIEEE Forum - Institutes & Courses , Counselling Zone - Sir,can I start preparing for iitjee 2009 now-without tuitions?

I am doing these books.Are they ok?

Physics:tmh,arihant series,irodov(just started),hc verma(only objectives)

Chemistry:op tandon(phy,inorg,org),jagadamba singh(org),arihant(inorg),morrison and boyd,rc mukerjee

Maths:ml khanna(subj),arihant series,rd sharma(objective)

Yes you can do it without tutions. You must maintain self-discipline. And the above mentioned books are enough for cracking JEE with a good rank.

yes dear u can do it your self.

there r certain things that u have to keep in mind.

1) honesty to wards prepration.

2) u have to be a smart learner, rather than collecting so many books u have to finish one book(per subject) at least 4 times.

3) don't let your moral down becoz at times u'll feel things are goin out of your hand.

4) do a bit of physical excersise so that u'll have a good health and good mind.

5) chatt with yours friend and your family so that u'll nt feel stressed.

there r lot of egs of students that got good rank in iit without any coaching.

You can do without going to coaching or tuitions.
However, if you try to go for IITJEE without the basics of Class 11 and 12, then there is no chance.
If at all you choose to join a coaching, focus on the one that is extremely strong on Class 11 and 12.

Everything is OK EXCEPT one thing.
WHY R U DOING HC VERMA ONLY FOR OBJECTIVES QUES?

HCV is a very gud buk. Do its subjective ques also, they will strengthen ur concepts and also help U to find where U R weak. Its objectives are conceptual with no calculations. U must hav practice of solving problems also. Irodov is gud but I DONT THINK U SHUD NEGLECT HCV SUBJECTIVE QUES.
