cases:
34 occurs- 5! ways
45 occurs- 5! ways
56 occurs- 5! ways
345 occurs- 4! ways
456 occurs- 4! ways
(34)&(56) occur together- 4! ways
3456 occurs- 3! ways
total unwanted cases=
E34 + E45+E56-E345-E456-E(34)(56)+E(3456)
this is because 345 and 456 are counted thrice each in each of first 3 cases...and 34556 is being counted and uncounted thrice...so we count it seperately once
so
U=3(5!)-3(4!)+3!
=360-72+6
=294
total cases=6!=720
wanted cases= 720-294=426
hence prob
=294/720
=49/120 for all nos in which the above cases occur
