I think anchit is right b'coz the logic of the prisoner can be applied only in the forward direction but not in the backward direction ,i.e,if he is not hanged on thrusday then he will be hanged on friday but if he is not hanged on wednesday,it dosen't mean that he wont be hanged on friday....Similarly,if he is not hanged on tuesday,it also dosen't mean that he will not be hanged on friday or thrusday leave alone wednesday.............

I hope this explanation makes sense.....

so he must be knowing the time at that moment ....but he had a look at the watch instead

if he had just arrived or else he couldnt have laid on the hood of his pick up truck, it would have been hot as hell. also it was already a hot and muggy day. but he did so he would have to get off soon or risk burning his back.

but he does have his allibi, his cousin, he could have talked his cousin into lying, for a share of the profit, or his cousin could be innocent with nothing to do with this.

he could have left his cousins place by 7am and reached the place of the robbery at 1pm, say he took about an hour for the robbery and reached home by 3.50pm. noe he could have laid on his car's hood without risking burns as it would have had time to cool during the one hour break. but then travelling 500km in 6hrs means that he would have had an avg velocity of approx 83.33km/hr which is way above the speed limit so somewhere inbetween the journey, he would have jumpped a signal or something and would have got clocked at 83km/hr. actually at more than a coulpe of points.

the detective just needs to check this out with the national highway police or something like that

So,here comes the next one..this one is a bit difficult...i dont know the answer but i have found theories...lets see who has the best explanation..i will try to find the answer from the source in a couple of days or so...

as the victim was found, she was on the bed, she had a severely deep slashed right wrist
and a knife in the other hand, a lot of blood on the bed
a suicide note on the table and analysis shows that the note is indeed her handwriting.
now the tearful mother explains to Rex that she was a cheerful girl, and that the mother had

to work late that day and when she arrived, she knocked several times and they finally broke

the door down to find this.

Her best friend was a similar girl exept she got along with the other students well
NOW SIMILAR WENT A LONG WAY, both girls liked same things, had the same crushes, talked

about the same things wore the same clothes(in terms of appearence), had the same birthday AND EVERYTHING ELSE IMAGINABLE ITS NO WONDER THEY GOT ON SO WELL.
THE ONLY DIFFERENCES WERE NOW, THE FRIEND SCORES VERY WELL IN TESTS, gets along fine with

class mates and things mentioned already.
INFACT THERES A PIC OF THE BOY PULLING THE GIRL BY HER LEFT AND HER RIGHT HAND WAS COMICALLY

TRYING TO WRITE AND KEEP HER SUPPORT AND HER FRIEND LAUGHS AND WRITES ON. but looking at

this photo, the friend cries and so does the boy BUT SURPRISINGLY SO DOES THE TEACHER WHO

ALWAYS CURSED HER AND HER CLASSMATES TOO.

NOW THE WISE DETECTIVE REX,,, has declared this a DREADFUL!! suicide....

is he right, is he wrong??

in no case is it a suicide

as the girl is right handed and would have cut her

left hand by the right hand

but she does the reverse

according to me the girl who has died is in reality the friend
and the girl has taken her place( it is said that they are same in every aspect) this is probably a case of murdering one due to jealousy

i have a couple of hypothesises,

Hypothesis-I

The first photo is a mis leader, it wants us to believe that the victim was a right hander but she is indeed a left hander by nature. When the girl was young, the mother would have tried to teach the girl to write using her right hand, this might have seemed comical to the father so he would have snapped the pic.

The perfection of all the things in their right places also lead us to believe that the girl had killed her best friend as an act of jealousy, but it isn?t so, the girl did commit the murder but on herself, i.e. suicide. She was pushed to the extent of suicide due to a number of facts

1. She was affected by her parent?s divorce, i.e. she wanted to see her father.

2. She might have thought that he boyfriend was trying to ditch her as he was avoiding her by canceling their date.

3. That night her mother was late from work, just when she needed someone to open out to.

4. She was once a good scoring student and getting low marks would have affected her adversely

5. Seeing her friend?s report card, she would have tried to compare her marks with her friends and would have ended up sad.

6. Everyone hated her except her best friend and her boyfriend who she thought was trying to ditch her.

All the statements about how they looked similar are all mis leaders. The second photo is how I reasoned out that she was indeed left handed. In the photo, her boyfriend tries to stop her writing (he pulls at her left hand).The pic might have been snapped when they were in detention given by the teacher that always curses the girl and her friends, her boyfriend and the best friend. But the teacher cries when she sees the photo as she might feel guilty that she had scolded the girl the last time she saw her due to her all time low marks and that?s how the girl was given the job of delivering her best friend?s report card.

7. the girl had been scolded by her teacher for her low marks.

Hypothesis-II

This case has another possibility; her best friend was ill, maybe with something terminal. So the best friend would have suggested that the girl ought to show as if she murdered her self and instead put her best friend?s dead body in place of it. This would bring the girls parent together also she would be accepted by her fellow classmates as her best friend and she could improve her life. The best friend would be willing to do this as she was going to die anyway.

So both of them would have gone to the girl?s house and set up everything and the girl would have written the suicide note. Then the best friend would have got a knife and suicide her self by cutting her right wrist, just to show that she was the girl (as the girl was a left hander). The teacher would cry as she would be feeling guilty for scolding the girl for her low marks.

The girl would return to her best friend?s place and started to live as her best friend.

but the second one is kinda dumb...
