Whatever solid we pour it forms heap i.e., it forms the shape of a cone. Why is like that? Why not other shape?

bcoz the base givs reaction to the upward layer of heap.so it is necessary tht upward layer shld hav less than that downward.so it forms a heap

THE BOTTOM SHOULD HAVE MORE BASE AREA TO HAVE STABILITY AND THE AREA AT THE TOP SHOULD BE MINIMUM.THIS IS PERHAPS MAINLY BECOS OF ACCELERATION DUE TO GRAVITY [G].HOPE U GOT IT

all the solids when poured form a heap.. this is because there is no lateral movement of the particles possible due to the friction...hence the particles get piled up on each other...the particles on the side flow down due to gravity...hence a cone shape is formed...

DREAM is not what you see in sleep... DREAM is a thing that does not let u sleep....
