Suppose u displace bloc A by x, bloc B and bloc C will displace by x/ 2 . so now net force on the mass m =kx+ (kx/ 2)^2+(kx/ 2)^2 =2kx ma=2kx
=2k/m T=2pi 2m/k

its not ycos45+ ycos 45 its not lik each contribtes and they get added up... total itself is y cos 45 only the 2 ycos45 components r parallel basically they dont get added up n all

i think the masses B and C get balanced over by each other as they were perpendicular and the resultant is A so the answer is B
